FOR ALL THE SAINTS Capital Campaign
A Message from Dean Harding

On the day of our Annual Meeting, we launched the public phase of our Capital Campaign. The FOR ALL THE SAINTS Capital Campaign is the beginning of a three-year fundraising and restoration effort to address the critical needs facing the "Pioneer Cathedral," the first cathedral in The Episcopal Church to be built in the style and on the scale of the great English Cathedrals. The first two phases of this multi-year endeavor will fund critical masonry and roof repairs prioritized in the Cathedral’s 2021 Strategic Plan.

On that day, I delivered an address about the importance of sacred space which can be accessed HERE.

A message from honorary campaign chair and Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan can be found HERE.

A message by honorary campaign chair David Ball, nephew of Bishop David Standish Ball (June 11, 1926 – April 18, 2017) can be found HERE.

This is an exciting time in the history of this cathedral. There is much work to be done to ensure that this treasure continues to bless generations yet to come. The restoration will be completed on a need-based schedule with the most urgent repairs being tended to first. You can read more about these priorities HERE.

I ask you to support this campaign “For All the Saints,” giving thanks for those who have come before us and with a prayer of hope for all who will come after us. May this house of prayer for all people continue to be a place where pilgrims seeking God may find and be found by Him.

Blessings,

The Very Rev. Fr. Leander S. Harding, Ph.D.
Dean of the Cathedral of All Saints
