All of us at The Cathedral of All Saints were saddened to learn that John Bradford Bohl, our former Interim Associate Organist, died of organ failure and respiratory distress on Thursday 2 August. Our prayers are with John’s mother Dorie, his sister Becky and her children, as well as the many colleagues and friends who mourn him today. John was an enormously gifted musician who dedicated his life to church music, and enriched the worship at The Cathedral of All Saints immeasurably during his short time with us. We thank God for the opportunity to have known John and to have had him as a part of our community.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Cathedral of All Saints Music Department, 62 South Swan Street, Albany, New York 12210.
Keep watch, dear Lord, with those who work, or watch, or weep this night, and give thine angels charge over those who sleep. Tend the sick, Lord Christ; give rest to the weary, bless the dying, soothe the suffering, pity the afflicted, shield the joyous; and all for thy love’s sake. Amen.
