Cathedral Dean Search Committee update - 8 August 2016
Dear Member of the Cathedral Family:
The Cathedral Chapter invites you to assist the Cathedral Dean Search Committee in its efforts to identify candidates for the position of Dean of the Cathedral.
Once again, we ask for your active participation in the discernment process leading to the election and call of the 21st Dean of the Cathedral of All Saints by developing questions you would like the candidates to answer at their personal interview. Perhaps something has come to your mind after completion of the Cathedral Dean Discernment Survey earlier this year. There may also be an idea that has been brought up, about which you would like to hear more. These questions will be grouped, categorized, synthesized and organized so they can be asked of each of the candidates this summer. When composing your questions, please write them in a manner such that a completed answer could be given within a five minute time frame, once the candidate has had an opportunity to hear the question and think about it for a minute.
Because time is critical, please submit your question(s) no later than Sunday, 14 August, to ensure that your input is included. Questions may be transmitted electronically (the preferred way) to Keith C. St. John, Esq., chair of the Search Committee, at firstname.lastname@example.org or they can be mailed using the U.S. Postal Service to Keith St. John, Esq., P.O. Box 9253, Niskayuna, NY 12309-0253. The information and ideas that you generate will be an invaluable ingredient in the successful completion of the Cathedral Chapter's critical endeavor.
Keith C. St. John, Esquire
Search Committee Chair
